CRICKET SCOTLAND PRE-SEASON 2010 COACHING COURSES

 
Places have been filling up fast for the pre-season round of UKCC Coaching Assistant Courses, due to take place over the coming weeks. Details are available on the website and can be found under the Community tab - Coach Development Programme 2010 document. Courses can now be booked online at the Cricket Scotland shop.
 
Places are still available for the Beath High School Course which starts this weekend, under the guidance of Clarence Parfitt, although the course at St.Thomas Aquinas School in Glasgow, is now completely full.
 
There are still places available in Edinburgh, which rounds off the Level 1 series of pre-season courses in February. The UKCC Coach Award [Level 2] Courses will take place post-season, and can also be booked online already.
 
Following the Cricket Scotland Coaches Conference in early March, there is also a series of Coach Development Workshops [CDWs] taking place at Craigclowan School in Perth. There are six Workshops in all, which Level 2 coaches can book and have a choice of only doing the Workshops they feel will give them more coaching skills, for example video analysis, or they can attend all six Workshops and be Assessed to the Club Coach Award level later in the year.
 
Each Workshop and the Assessment costs £20.00 each, or you can make a saving of £40.00 if you book all 6 Workshops plus Assessment for £100.00. For those coaches aspiring to do their Level 3 in the near future, it is now an ECB requirement that applicants for Level 3 have successfully completed these CDWs and been assessed,
