'Coaching Young Players' - now postponed
Cricket
Organisation for the Cricket Scotland Coaches' Conference, in association with Cricket Factory, is moving apace now, with just over a month before everyone is invited to gather at the beautiful setting of Sportscotland's Inverclyde National Sports Centre for the weekend of 6-7 March 2010.
The workshop sessions are designed to give coaches of all levels the latest methods and a few fresh ideas, so that they can support and develop their young players, and will be delivered over the two-day period of the conference.
The Saturday evening Awards Dinner, also supported by Cricket Factory, will provide an excellent opportunity to share views and ideas with other coaches. The award winners collect not only their trophies but a 'skill set' package for their clubs, donated by Cricket Factory.
Award nominations can be made on-line or through your local Development Manager, and details of the conference - content, costs and other arrangements - are now available at the on-line CS Shop, or in the documents listed below, which you can download.
The 'weekend' rate of £140 covers delegate pack, welcome refreshments, workshop information, lunch on both days, awards dinner and, probably most importantly, B&B on a shared basis for the Saturday night/Sunday morning.
Those interested in attending may wish to contact their local authority Sports Council to enquire about possible grant aid for their attendance.
Or, should you require further information, please contact Cricket Scotland's Coach Development Manager, Adam Park-Elliott, on 07825 172347, or e-mail adamparkelliott@cricketscotland.com
