Edinburgh Cricket Club: a Cricket Scotland statement

Cricket Scotland statement re Edinburgh Cricket Club, issued on Friday 25 March 2011:

Due to the fact that Edinburgh Cricket Club unfortunately no longer have a home ground that meets the requirements of the Scottish National Cricket League, the Competitions Committee have today decided that Edinburgh CC will not participate in this season's Championship.

This decision means that the Championship contains only 15 teams, and consequently there will be no relegation from the Championship for season 2012.
