Peter Steindl the Scotland Head Coach has been awarded his Level 4 coaching award with a distinction.
Steindl joins Cricket Scotland colleagues Andy Tennant and Craig Wright in passing the highest professional qualification for cricket coaches. The course is an intensive two year examination of all aspects of the profession and is widely regarded within sport as one of the most advanced qualifications of its type.
The award concludes a very successful year for Steindl - he led the Scotland team to three ODI wins from as many games against Associate countries, while also guiding his team with four wins from four matches in the ICC Associate One Day League.

On receiving his award Steindl said; ‘I have really enjoyed the challenge that the ECB Level 4 course has provided me. It has been a rewarding process that has been beneficial to my development as a coach.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Gordon Lord and his team of tutors and specialist coaches that assisted me through the course and to Cricket Scotland for their support.’
The Scotland team are currently training over the Christmas period as they prepare for Dubai early in the New Year.
