Cricket Society of Scotland 2011/12

The Cricket Society of Scotland has announced their programme of speakers for 2011/12.  What looks to be a fascinating list of guests, will include Kyle Hogg, a member of the 2011 Championship winning Lancashire team, present a talk.

As in previous years, meetings will generally be on the second Monday of each month at 7.30pm at Clydesdale CC, Titwood, while the Edinburgh meetings are always 24 hour later on the Tuesday at Grange CC (7.30pm). The exceptions to this are January (when the meeting will be on the fourth Monday).

December’s speaker will be Kyle Hogg of Lancashire, who has now confirmed for Mon 12th Dec in Glasgow and Tues 13th Dec in Edinburgh.  .

Please make every effort both to attend the meetings and to encourage others to do so.  Attendance levels in the last few years have been encouraging but the whole exercise is still not really self-sustaining.  Please put the dates in the attached flyer in your diary now – and do your best to encourage a friend to join.

Subscriptions are £26.00 (Family £38.00).  This represents an increase on last year but, given the logistics involved in attracting speakers from England, continues to represent value for money.

Please return the attached form to me with payment (cheques should be made payable to Cricket Society of Scotland).  Payment by post is definitely preferred but, alternatively, you can bring payment along to the first meeting of the year.
